Sales trainers will often tell stories of superstar salespeople who sit on the phone all day, calling random strangers and overcoming various objections to make sales. The reality is that cold-calling is dead. In my experience, any marketing effort that has you approaching cold customers and asking them to do business with you is a lot of effort for very little reward.
