Now that the New Year is in full swing, how are your resolutions looking? Are you still staying on track, or have you veered off in another direction? If you’re looking for a “resolution replacement,” here are five simple, but very effective, resolutions every small business owner can make on his or her way to an even more successful 2013.
- Take more risks: Naturally, this does not mean that you need to take radical steps to alter your business strategies in the new year, but new ideas are always welcome. Now that you have found your footing and made it through another year as a small business owner, don’t be afraid to test out some of the more exciting or challenging ideas you have been tucking away. Any successful businessperson will tell you that being too conservative in your business plans and actions will usually do more bad than good in the long term. Another successful year of operations should have built up your confidence enough to go out on a limb and try on some new ideas this year.
