I love reusable shopping bags. With this being said, I almost always leave them at home when I make my way to the grocery store. This is realized only after the checker passes judgmental eyes over the paper bags my groceries are loaded into (recently I’ve been keeping the re-useable bags in my car, much more efficient).

I also make conscious efforts to always turn off the lights when I leave a room; a habit finally instilled on me after 20 years of my parents asking if I grew up in a barn every time I left the light on in a room.

After reading this article on Mashable.com I realized the environment saving activities I practice at home were not being mirrored by my office lifestyle, unless of course you count my reusable Starbucks mug that’s really more an ode to my obsession than it is a green habit (see number 9). Luckily Mashable has some amazing tips on how to make your office lifestyle a little more green (and quite stylish in my opinion).
